Well there it is!  Rubber mount Sporty with a hard tail! Now to build the rest of the bike.  Need to drop in the motor make the wheel spacers.  Mount oil tank battery box fender seat gas tank front end.........

Frame Jig Modifications

Doing some Modifications to my frame Jig today. My current customer project is a rubber mounted Harley Davidson Sportster.  I am welding a Led-Sled Customs Hard Tail onto the Front loop.  had to Make a new cradle for my frame jig and do some minor modification to to the frame bed.  So far the project is going well but I am finding that sometimes welding a pre-fabbed Hardtail on is just a time consuming as  making a Hardtail from scratch!  More pictures coming soon!

50 Degree Ride

So I decided that the fact that there is snow on the ground was not going to stop me from going on for a ride.  It is May after all and it should not be cold and snowing anyways! No plates on this bike yet so I did not go to far no point in getting a ticket for having some fun.  I found myself a decent spot to stop not to far from the house and took some pictures of the bike I just finished building. This bike is a 1969 Triumph that i built from the ground up. The motor was too far gone so I found a 750 motor from a 1972 triumph to rebuild and drop in the frame.  My second complete bike build this was and I learned many new things.  I look forward to more rides on this bike. I look forward to my next bike build as well!

Rainy Day Blues!

  May first and it is supposed to snow this evening!  That sucks.  No riding the motorcycle today.  Oh well there is always work to be done.  And indoor fun to be had.  Nerf gun battles and blog posts to be made!
